A graceful 78–foot motor yacht of European vintage

Dutch built with teak decks in 1966 as a luxury private yacht, the Samba is now a perfectly well converted cruise boat specialized for Galapagos Islands vacations. The SAMBA accommodates 14 guests, a perfect number to enjoy the magic of the Islands with privacy and flexibility. Its professional, experienced and friendly crew and naturalist guide are devoted to go the extra mile to make your journey a trip of a life time.

The upper deck with an outside dinning area and sun protection is ideal for bird and marine life watching. On the main deck, an outside area with reading, resting and also eating space; and inside, there is a dining salon with library with TV/VCR and Stereo. Here is where briefings and conference-talks are given and planning about next day activities. Foredeck has enough space for sun bathing, dolphin watching or just to relax and observe marine life and the beautiful landscape of the islands. The ample and comfortable space on deck makes this boat ideal for nature and photography cruises.

6 air-conditioned double cabins and 1 exterior double bed cabin, all with private bathrooms and hot water. An ample dining-room/salon connects to an outdoor dining facility with large tables, 32″ High Definition LCD TV, DVD video equipment, sound-system, mini-library with books and videos and a small bar.

Meals on board

Our chef offers fine cuisine ranging from international to local specialties, served in our dining room with a perfect environment. Please let our chef know if you have any restrictions concerning your diet, so we may serve you the best we can. The majority of the food on board is organic and grown locally. As much as we can we buy our vegetable and fruits in our local market and whatever is not produced locally we buy in Quito making sure that the goods are organic. The Galley is fully equipped to enable the Chef to maintain the highest standards in ecuadorian and international cuisine.

Naturalist Guides

Because we do not run the traditional tourism trips we have guides that are well trained and have years of experience. Furthermore, guides are always motivated to keep themselves updated and we teach them to deliver the best nature possible as well as having more than the basic knowledge to entertain a group.
