Tundaloma Lodges’ main objective is to preserve a small area of tropical rainforest. The lodge is located within the Choco region in the north of the province of Esmeraldas, making this a tropical paradise, ideal for birdwatching, as well as flora and fauna. Of these natural advantages, the idea to build a lodge that will allow our visitors to enjoy the comfort and charm of nature in our facilities.
Tundaloma lodge is located close to San Lorenzo in the north-east of the province of Esmeraldas. Km. 17 (10 mi) on the road to Ibarra. Its distance from Quito is approximately 275 km (170 mi). Tundaloma Lodge is located 4 hours from Quito and 2 hours from the Airport of Esmeraldas. It lies at an altitude of 42 meters above sea level.
The Esmeraldas Province has greatly developed its touristic resources, and particularly Tundaloma Lodge has made a strong effort to provide a sustainable tourism experience. At Tundaloma Lodge you may enjoy a wonderful tropical forest, clean air, waters full of life, and some of the best relaxation in the region.
This lodge looks out over Tropical Forest, and due to its placement on a hill it is an excellent base for birdwatching.
